2:00pm – 2:20pm                  Packing Up time

Children organise themselves to go home, pack drink bottles,

lunch boxes, hats, artwork (final day), shoes and socks on.

2:20pm – 2:40pm                  Relaxation Time Terms 1 and 2

                                               Book/Puzzle/Board Games/Computer/Science Time

                                                Terms 3 and 4

2:40pm – 2:55pm                  Afternoon group time

2:55pm – 3:00pm                  Children gather their bags and meet their families along the

ramp and undercover area. 

3:00pm                                   Preschool closes.

Learning happens more effectively when it is repeated. The very “everyday-ness” of our routines and rhythms make them incredibly valuable learning experiences all of the children are involved in. Our daily routine and rhythm is very flexible and guided by the children’s interests, the weather and other events taking place. Educators provide support for the children while they are becoming familiar with our routines and rhythms and this support is adjusted as the children learn and their capabilities increase.
